Tapaninpäivänä lähdettiin äitin, iskän ja nuorimman veljen kanssa parin päivän reissulle Kööpenhaminaan. Reissun alku ei kyllä mennyt mun osalta ihan niin kuin Strömsössä. Ensin, aamulla pakatessa, meinasin unohtaa ottaa Tanskan kruunut mukaan. Sitten turvatarkastuksessa huomasin, että enpäs sitten muistanut pakata järkkäriä mukaan. En tiedä hämmennyinkö tosta unohduksesta, vai mitä tapahtui, mutta jostain syystä jätin sitten matkalippuni siihen turvatarkastusmuovilaatikkoon. Olishan se ollut mulla puhelimessakin, mutta mitäs jos joku ois ottanut sen lipun? No onneks se oli kuitenkin henkilökunnalla tallessa. Kehnosta alusta huolimatta loppureissu meni kuitenkin ihan hyvin. Koska kunnollista kameraa ei ollut mukana, on nää kaikki kuvat otettu puhelimella.
On Boxing day me, my parents and my youngest brother left to Copenhagen for a couple of days. The beginning of my trip did'nt really go as planned. At first, in the morning when I was packing, I almost left my Danish krones at home. Then at the security check, I noticed that I had forgot to pack my DSLR. I don't know if that got me confused, of what happened, but for some reason I left my boarding pass in the plastic crate. I had the boarding pass on my phone as well, but what if someone had taken the paper one? Luckily the staff had it. Despites the unlucky start, the rest of the trip went well. Since I had no proper camera with me, all these pictures were taken on my phone.
Meidän hotelli oli ihan rautatieaseman vieressä. Vähän kyllä kuului junien kolinaa, muttei niin paljon että se olisi häirinnyt mun nukkumista.
Our hotel was right next to the railway station. There was a little bit of noise coming from the trains, but not that much that I could'n sleep.
Meidän ekana päivänä, tapaninpäivänä, joulukoristeet ja -valot oli vielä esillä ympäri kaupunkia, mutta jo seuraavana aamuna kuvassakin näkyvä kuusi vietiin pois. Ihmisiä oli liikkeellä hyvin vähän tapaninpäivänä, kun kaupatkin olivat kiinni.
On our first day, Boxing day, the Christmas decorations and lights were still up, but the next morning they were taking down the tree in the picture. There were not that many people walking around on Boxing day, since the shops weren't open.
Keli oli joka päivä kylmä ja pilvinen, paikoin sateinenkin, ja varsinkin ensimmäisenä päivänä oli todella kova tuuli. Kyllä se aurinkokin pari kertaa pilkahti.
The weather was cold and cloudy every day, it rained a couple of times as well, and the wind was horrible, especially on the first day. The Sun made an appereance a couple of times as well.

Tietystihän se Pieni Merenneito-patsaskin piti käydä katsomassa. Kävely sinne kesti ikuisuuden, ja siellä olikin jo melko pimeetä, kun paikalle päästiin.
Of course we had to go see the Little Mermaid statue. It took ages to walk there, and it was quite dark when we got there.
Ekana iltana käytiin Tivoli-huvipuistossa katselemassa valoja. Tivolin valot oli kyllä hienoja. Sieltä on sen verran paljon kuvamateriaalia, että laitan ne omaan postaukseensa. Linnanmäen valokarnevaaliin verrattuna valoja oli paljon enemmän ja hienompia. Mutta Linnanmäelle olikin ilmainen sisäänpääsy, Tivoliin maksoi viitisentoista euroa.
At the first evening, we visited the amusement park, Tivoli. The lights at Tivoli were pretty cool. I have so many photos from there, that I'm gonna put those in their own blog post. Compered to the carnival of lights at Linnanmäki, the lights at Tivoli were better and there were way more of them.
Illemmalla Tivolissa oli vielä ilotulitus, joka näkyi meidän hotellilta todella hyvin.
Later in the evening, there were fireworks, that we saw from the window of our hotel room.
Kirkkoja oli kyllä sitten melkoinen määrä.
There was quite a few churches there.
Jälleen kerran kaikki mun ostokset mahtu yhteen pieneen kassiin.

Hotellilla oli joka päivä klo 17-18 wine hour, jolloin hotellin asukkaille oli tarjolla viiniä ilmaiseksi. Meidän hotellihuoneessa oli myös kylpyamme. En muista olleeni kylvyssä sitten lapsuuden, joten päätin käyttää tilaisuuden hyödyksi ja kokeilla. Ei ollut kyllä mun juttu, saattaa mennä toiset 20 vuotta seuraavaan kertaan. En jaksanut odottaa että amme ois täyttynyt kunnolla, joten vettä oli melko vähän, toi kylpypallo teki vedestä aika ällöttävän keltaista, eikä tuoksukaan ollut mikään paras. Kaiken lisäks se nyt vaan tuntu erittäin typerältä istua paikallaan isossa vesiämpärissä.
Our hotel had a wine hour every day from 17:00 to 18:00, when the wine was free for the people staying at the hotel. Our hotel room had a bath tub. I can't remember having a bath since I was a child, so I decided to have one. It wasn't really my thing, and it might take another twenty years until my next bath. I was too impatient to wait for the bath to fill up, so there was not that much water, the bath bomb made the water look disgusting and yellow, and it didn't even smell that nice. And it just felt stupid to sit in a giant bucket of water.

Flying reindeer are real!!
Kyllä tolla puhelimen kameralla muuten sai ihan kelpoja kuvia, mutta nää lentokoneen ikkunasta otetut on kyllä ihan kuraa. Oikeesti noi valot oli hienot, mutta kuvat on kyllä jokseenkin sumeita.
The phone camera was pretty fine, except when taking photos out of the plane window. In real life those lights were amazing, but these photos are quite blurry.
